How To Play

1. Ask a Question:

The player to the left of Player 1 asks a question from the agreed deck or their device.

  • If Player 1 answers correctly, they get a card or a blank token from the game box.
  • If Player 1 answers incorrectly, the next player to their right gets a chance to answer and win the card and so on.
  • If no one answers correctly, the card goes to the discard pile.

2. Buy Advantages:

Players can choose to use any cards they’ve won to buy advantages (optional).

3. Roll Dice:

Player 1 rolls two dice and moves their pieces. They can move one piece the full amount or both pieces according to each die. The START square counts as the first square of the move.

Double Roll:

Spend 1 card to double your roll if you call out an odd or even number before rolling.

Safe Space:

Spend 2 cards to protect yourself from being bumped until your next turn. Place a marker card on the safe space to show it’s protected, then remove it after your next turn.

Shortcut:

Spend 3 cards to take a diagonal shortcut for your next roll. You can split the shortcut between pieces if you want. If the roll allows, you can take two shortcuts.

Kids’ Advantage:

With agreement, kids can choose to use the advantages from their cards either before or after they roll.

Safe Squares (Gray):

If a piece lands on a square that is already occupied, the piece already there gets bumped back to the previous corner — unless it’s a gray square, which is immune to being bumped.

Two Pieces on a Square:

If a player has both of their pieces on the same square, those pieces can be joined or passed by another piece, but they cannot be bumped.

Yellow Squares:

If a player lands on a yellow square, they are bumped back to the previous corner.

Home Stretch:

Players move their pieces clockwise around the board until they enter the home stretch. The first of a player’s pieces to reach the home stretch must roll the exact number of squares remaining to reach the winning picture square. A player’s second piece doesn’t need an exact roll to enter and can finish the game as long as the roll is equal to or greater than the remaining squares.

Safe by Pairing:

If two different pieces end up on the same square, both pieces are safe from being bumped. For example, if someone purchases a safe turn and another player ends up on that same square, both are protected from being bumped.

Question Requests:

Players may request questions on another subject from another source (e.g., the internet or other references) as long as everyone agrees on the accuracy of the answers.
